About
About 30 Sundays
30 Sundays is a travel company that manages the complete customer journey, from lead generation and trip planning to pre-trip engagement and support. Its base runs to thousands of paying travellers, with a strong focus on customers who have already purchased a tour package. Keeping those customers engaged after purchase and throughout their travel matters as much as handling new enquiries.
Sixty-five team members work across four functions: Sales manages new leads and trip conversions, Support handles queries, Operations manages post-booking and travel coordination, and HR manages internal employee communication. DoubleTick acts as the WhatsApp API and communication-governance layer, while 30 Sundays' own team handles the underlying integrations and business logic.
For paid customers, WhatsApp is used to share trip details, answer queries, discuss itinerary and resort options, coordinate travel requirements and provide support throughout the journey. For new leads, the conversation runs from enquiry to consultation, package discussion, booking, pre-trip support and travel support.
The challenge
What they set out to solve
Manage a large customer-facing team on WhatsApp while keeping control, visibility and engagement across the lifecycle. For 30 Sundays, WhatsApp is not only a lead channel. A major question is: once a customer has paid for a trip, how do you keep them engaged, informed and supported until and during their travel?
